Stanford Libraries welcomes Zach Lannes

The Science and Engineering Resource Group at Stanford University Libraries is pleased to announce that Zach Lannes will join us as Engineering Librarian, Research & Teaching Support, based in the Terman Engineering Library starting on September 9th, 2024.
Zach brings librarian experience from community college and university settings. He was most recently the Resident Science Librarian at the University of Michigan, where he liaised to the Departments of Physics, Astronomy, Mathematics, and Industrial and Operations Engineering. He is interested in outreach and instruction, and both activities' relationship to new technology, making him the perfect fit for SUL and Terman Library. Zach has a BA in Mathematics with minors in computer science and philosophy from Texas A&M University, and an MLIS from Louisiana State University.
