Upon Graduating
Your student ID card gets deactivated within days of graduation, which ends all building access and expires your student library borrowing account, however, you will still be able to login to view your account.
Under very limited circumstances, some academic departments may sponsor graduating students for a temporary SUNetID with or without library e-resources sponsorship. Check with your department because the Libraries do not sponsor SUNetIDs or sponsor library e-resource access. Visit Sponsoring Someone for Library e-resources for more information.
Visiting
Stanford alumni may visit our libraries for up to 14 days per year at no cost (see Visitor access > Day pass). After that, a library card may be purchased for continued access or borrowing at discounted alumni rates. SAA membership card is required.
